Will my board support new memory?

I have a Gigabyte EP45-DS3P. Currently using OCZ Platinum 800mhz memory. On the spec it says ;

Memory type Dual Channel, DDR2 1333+/1066/800/667 MHz

What does the + mean after 1333?
Will it take 2000 or is 1333 the limit for DDR2?

Also, it says PCI-Express X16 (X16) 2 (1x16 or 2x8). I have an 8800GT in 16x slot at the moment. In future, would I be able to go SLI or does that need 2x16?
Or is SLI ok running on 2x8?

Your motherboard has the Intel P45 chipset which does not support Nvidia SLI but does support ATI Crossfire.

Not sure what the fastest DDR2 was,possibly 1200mhz? so your board would support that but it'll be rarer than hens teeth to find these days.

Just get yourself a decent 1066mhz kit.

+1 on Amidars post. OCUK were doing some DDR2 faster than 1066 a while back, im not so sure they still are. Basically alll the x's stuff relates to how many graphics cards you are running for example one will run at x 16 and 2 will run at x 8. Ive heard that you will not see a massive performance drop in crossfire between the boards that support x8 and x 16 when using two graphics cards.
