im planning to move to Brazil in a month and i want to bring my consoles with me

i have a ps2,ps3,ps4,xbox,xbox one,n64,wii & wii u

am i going to need a new psu for each of them? i used to import ntsc consoles in the 90s and had to use a stepdown converter for the power

the power in brazil is lower than here in the uk so im hopeing someone is going to tell me the psu will deal with the difference and just work :p

Have a look on the power specifications, it will probably have 100-240V or something similar written on the machine, power pack or somesuch other. In which case, just a plug adapter or a new cable.

I've not encountered any electronics in a long time that didn't have PSUs that accepted 110-240V...just double check, it will always be labelled.

thanks for the replies :) well my ps2 has a HDD loaded with my games, same for the Wii & my xbox is just for emulating older systems

edit, forgot to mention I have a flashcard for the n64

The PS3 has a universal PSU and you'll only need to replace the power cable.

I think the PSU for the N64 is part of the big block that you plug into the back of the console, so you would only have to replace that.

Pretty sure youll need to source new PSUs for the XO and X360 (unsure about the Xbox but would assume so) - MS doesnt believe in auto-switching dual voltage PSUs for some reason.

What does Brazil use? I assume its the same as US but guessing...

EDIT: Jesus ****ing Christ - Brazil doesnt have a single standard for electricity it seems - have fun!
Brazil’s standardization on one single plug and socket type, however, does entail some risks. Why? Simply because Brazil is one of the very few countries that does not have a standard voltage, but at the same time it has only one official type of socket! In other words, you cannot tell the difference between a 220 V and a 127 V socket! (Click here for an exhaustive list of all 27 Brazilian federative units and their respective voltages.) Most states use 127 V electricity, but a couple of them are on 220 V.

EDIT2: A dual voltage XO PSU does exist - http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/system/about-power-supply

ps3ud0

All sorted :) called Microsoft and bought a universal PSU for £43,
Called Sony and was told to **** off (not those exact words)

The call to Nintendo really entertained me, I had to spend 5mins explaining to the technician that he was talking complete ********. The guy was trying to tell me that even if I get a PSU I would also need a pal TV, he didn't seem to understand that pal/ntsc doesn't matter with hdmi

I found out from lots of searching that ps4 & wii u are indeed universal, the wii u just doesn't mention it on the stickers :)
