Will my CPU be a bottleneck

Hi all, it's been a while since i've upgraded any part of my system, but the ATI HD 5850 has really interested me.

At the moment i have an IceQ3 ATI X1950 Pro graphics card. I am thinking about upgrading to an ATI HD 5850, and my processor is an Intel Core2 Duo 2.4GHz (overclocked to 2.7GHz), but the temps are real good so I could overclock to 3GHz if i wanted to.

The question is will the CPU be holding back the performance of the graphics card, and if so how much?
