will my CPU bottleneck my GPU?

I've a q9550 C2Quad running at 3.8, will it be an issue for the 570 card I got?

For games that use all 4 cores it will be fine. Only in games that use less than four cores that you might see the GTX570 get bottlenecked.

Fine - minimal gains for the price you need to pay if you upgrade the CPU for the single 570.

Unless you are thinking about BF3, the jury is still out until we have the retail version.

Far more gains to be had than losses by incorporating a 570 into your rig.

Yeah I thought that most games now are pushing the 1gig VRAM limit on most cards so I needed to get a card that was powerful enough and had more than 1 gig of VRAM. Just got to sell these 3 GPU's I now have sitting here lol

I am tempted to add a 580 to my i3 rig.
My gut feeling is it's all about the GPU these days.
