Will my CPU bottleneck my GPU's?

I just got my second 6950 so I can run xfire and a thought just crossed my mind.

I have a AMD Phenom II 955 at 4.2ghz using CCC to overclock it because my Motherboard wont let me through the BIOS.

Now just wondering if my CPU will bottleneck the GPU's also if anyone knows a way to overclock my CPU through the bios then that would be great too.

My motherboard is a "MSI 870A-G54 AMD 870"

Mine has no problems at 4 gig witha pair of 6950's

If it helps I used to have a AM2 Phenom II 940 at 3.8Ghz and I didn't notice much if any bottlenecking on my GTX 480's in SLI.

When I upgraded my [email protected] to i5 [email protected] with my 6950, I didnt see much of a boost in fps, so the E8400 wasnt bottlenecking the 6950 very much at all. But now my 6950 is bottlenecking the cpu hugely, you cant win can you.

Possibly a small bottleneck since your cpu is equivelant to a Core i3 2120 3.3Ghz
