so i currently have an amd 2700x setup and am thinking on changing to an intel i7-9700k and overclock it to say 5.1GHz , so want to know will my current memory be up to the job or would i need to change it as well as the MB and CPU.
my current memory is :
16GB (2x8GB) Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX Black, PC4-24000 (3000), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 15-17-17-35, XMP 2.0, 1.35V

Pretty sure that is the exact same memory I run with my 9700K and no problems at all.

You should be golden ;)

@Digit Hi do you have it overclocked , if so what speed to :)
Hi, and sorry for the late reply. I don't have it overclocked. Never felt the need to. Coming from my previous system which only had 1600MHz memory i'm more than happy for it to run at its stock speed of 3000MHz
