Will my current PSU run a 460 graphics card

Its a 450W Hyper.

Ive heard good and bad things about Hyper. Wondered what im up against.

Whats your current setup? The min a GTX460 requires says 450w, so either way you might just push it too far over the line, I'd suggest reinvesting in something branded along the lines of 650w (corsair/OCZ etc..)

650w is ott for a GTX460(unless its unbranded), a corsair cx430w is more than enough, if the OP doesnt plan to do some major overclocking and have a lot of HDDs/fans

BTW my quad + 460 use 150W idle and 330W on full cpu/gpu load

when i saw what psu it was hiper i immediately thought of the hiper explosion club thread

Just took the PSU out to double check its rating (sticker was on the only side i couldnt see!). Its a 530W Hyper, not a 450W.

My current setup is a 8800GT and E6300. Nothing overclocked. Ive been using the PSU for quite a while and have previously clocked the graphics card and CPU with it, so hopefully its had a good testing.
