Hello,

I've just ordered 4gig memory and the new Intel 8200 Wolfdale. Now I plan to install Vista but only have a ATI 1900GT. Will This slow the machine down at all? I dont really play games so dont fancy paying £120 for a ATI 3570 at this moment in time.

Also if I do upgrade to a 3570 in a few months time, is it possible to just take the 1900GT out and put the 3570 in? I was under the impression that all radeons use the same drivers so I could just basically swap them over without the need to format etc.

Thanks

Paul

your grfx won't slow Vista down at all, lol :D
x1900GT's are still alright cards.. they'll run pretty much everything but crysis decently still :)

I've got it running on onboard gma900 on one of my machines, so you'll have no problem at all.

Also, swapping out graphics cards is fine, tho if you're as anal as I am, you'll want to uninstall the current drivers and reinstall afresh.
