Will my order turn up?

Its may be better than other couriers but its still not acceptable IMHO, I have paid for Next Day Delivery.
DPD deliver approximately 99% of the consignments they carry on time. That's pretty much industry leading. All businesses have service failures, it's inevitable.
 
I use Yodel when parcels I sent fit a certain criteria that'd render them very expensive to send by other means, in the last 6 months I've sent 227 items with them.

My findings:

- 2 have been lost
- I've had to chase another 2 with Yodel as the tracking made no sense and the parcel appeared to be 'stuck'
- None have arrived damaged (although I package very well)
- No reports of bad delivery drivers or malpractice by them

All seems fine to me - they paid out for the 2 lost parcels without fuss too.
 
Complain to the people you bought the card off.

The contract to supply is with them, you are not the delivery companies customer, the supplier is.

If the supplier have failed to supply under the terms you've paid for, approach them for resolution.
