Will my PSU be sufficient?

I purchased a Corsair RM Series RM 850 '80+ Gold' 850W Power Supply before Christmas not expecting to get a second R9 290. Would this PSU be sufficient if i had 2 R9 290s in crossfire. They will be used for mining. I have read mixed answers.

From a specification point of view it should run them just fine, however for mining...full tilt 24/7, I'm not familiar enough with Corsair PSUs to know whether this one is made by a reputable PSU manufacturer or not.

Power consumption AMD Radeon R9-290 2-way Crossfire
System in IDLE = 130W
System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 603W
Difference (GPU load) = 473W
Add average IDLE wattage ~20W
Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 493 Watts

so the answer is yes.

Excellent, thanks. That article suggests a minimum 800watt power supply. The PC also isn't overclocked, mainly due to BF4 not liking it.
