Alright guys n' gals!
Ive currently got a Corsair HX620, its now a year old.
About to build a system for my brother, Im planning upgrading a little due to amputating a few bits from my current setup into his.
The setup would be the following:
ASUS P5Q Deluxe
Q9550 @ 3.4GHz
4 x 1GB OCZ 6400 SLI Ram
BFG GTX 260 OCX Maxcore
Fatal1ty Xtreme Gamer FPS Sound Card
Sony NEC DVD-RW/Combi Drive
2 x WD RaptorX 150gb's
2 x WD 500GB AAKS
Total of 8 x 120mm Fans
Now, i'd like to think that a 620W Rated PSU would be able to supply roughly a constant 480-500watts within a 2~3 year life span?
I dont think my system would draw even as much as that surely? (The daft PSU calculator site reckons it'd draw 721
)
Im ordering the bits for his setup tonight so purchasing a more powerful PSU wouldn't be a problem if needed (any suggestions as to which to go for?)
Cheers
