Will my PSU run a 780?

Hi guys can someone tell me whether my PSU will run a GTX780 ok?

It's a prety old PSU, about 7 odd years now and I only have 6+8 pin GPU power cables.

At 7 years old I'd be worried about capacitor aging, maybe someone else can confirm but I'd say nope

Double 12V rails with 432W total.. Hmm. With degrading happening every year, you are running short.

I'd say you're better off buying a new one. You are really pushing it, and 7 years is a respectable retirement age for a PSU.

Even if it had enough wattage, I would probably replace it at that age. It'll go pop eventually. Best not to have it happen while you're using it.

Mine put shrapnel in my wall Not sure if it was related to being overloaded with two 7900GTXs or not, but either way. It's the only PSU I've owned that went out trying to kill me

This thread makes me wonder if I should replace my psu, which is now over seven years old.

ok guys thanks, I hate spending money in PSU's even though I know they are important but I guess it's an investment end of the day.
