I just want to make sure...
At the moment I have Antec HE 550W.
It runs [email protected]+HD3870+3HDD's ...
For a few quid I can get almost brand new 3850(or just get 2nd hand 3870) and Im thinking of putting it in to Xfire with my 3870. Do you guys think my PSU will be enough for this setup ?
Or maybe there is no point as adding 3850 as it wont make much of a difference...
Thank you.

Recommended wattage for a power supply to support crossfire for the 3850 or 3870 is 630w.

In terms of difference, you will see better quality in games, but only for those that support crossfire/multi GPU cards. Older games won't recognise the additional cards and you won't get the added benefit.

I think I will give a go:)
thx

I just bought GTA IV and it anoyes me that I can not play in high detail in my resolution ( 1900*1200)
I hope that maybe crossfire with 3850 and 3870 will be enough
