Hi guys,

I've recently upgraded to a 2500k Z68 combo with an SSD and 8Gb (2x4Gb) team group elite RAM and the default timings are 11-11-11-28.

My i5 is stable @4.5GHz and flies with only +0.015v vcore added so temps are good but I don't feel pushing the OC higher would help as much as tightening the RAM timings, am I correct?

If so do you have any suggestions on how to get the timings down in Laymans terms?

Much appreciated :)

Ram timings wont help that much unless its haswell as i think timings matter a lot more on them but ivy and sandy i think dont really benefit that much.

depends what temps/load cpu voltages are like, you might need a big bump from 4.5ghz idk

could try 46x cpu multi for 4.6ghz and +0.020v dvid?

yh it tends to be the sweetspot regarding voltages/temps

test with +0.010v and +0.005v ect

can even undervolt by -0.005v
