Will my water loop be able to cope?

I am thinking of adding my 4850 into my watercooling loop.

Currently I have a 120.2 TFC Xchanger Rad & the xspc single bay res & pump cooling NB & 6300 @ 2.8.

Currently temps are fine, 32-34 idle, 42 - 44 load.

Just wondering if adding the 4850 into the loop will effect things much?

I do plan on upgrading the cpu at some point, but at the same time I will probabally change the pump also.

Cheers

It will probably raise the temps a bit, but shouldnt have too much of an impact. Your temps look pretty good as they are so i doubt a bit of an increase will have any effect of the performance.

You could probably do with a better pump though. The one in the single bay res isnt very powerful and may start struggling with 3 blocks in the loop. A Laing DDC or similar would be much better :)

Thanks for that, yeah i know I could do with a stronger pump, will see how it goes once the card is added into the loop. Hopefully temps wont go up too much!!

I've got a [email protected] and a GTX260 in one loop running off a carp swiftech 240 rad, under load cpu gets to 60° and GPU gets to 45° and the ambient temp is 34°

So you should be fine

I would ditch the drive bay reservoir, it has a low head/flow rate as it is and you're only gonna make it worse by adding more restriction into the loop :)
