Am just downloading the Eve client to my netbook, but I'm not sure if it will run okay on here.

Most of the system requirements seem to have been met, the only question I've got is over the graphics.

Eve says it needs,

"Video: 64 MB Shader Model 2.0 Graphics cards such as GeForce FX (5 series) class card or higher, ATi 9500, x300 series or higher and Similar chips from other manufacturers"

According to DXdiag I've got:

Intel GMA(R) 250 224mb

Anyone know if thats good enough, or not?

It's Intels latest GMA (Graphics Media Accelerator) for netbooks. It's built into the motherboard and uses part of the cpu processing power to help dislay graphics etc. The specs stated are LOW by todays standards so you should have no problems.

Eve should work on a netbook , I'm positive I've seen a thread with it running somewhere too, although maybe that was somewhere else :p

I've played the Low spec Eve client (if there's still such a thing :p) on my laptop before , worked perfectly with no noticeable slowdown in fps anywhere and specs are as followed :
Intel GMA 945 256mb shared gfx
1280 x 800 res
2gb ram
1.66ghz C2D

Brilliant, cheers. Now if the sodding client will actually download at a reasonable rate I'll be able to confirm that the hard way...
