Will PSU's become cheaper?

Will PSU's become cheaper or bigger by standard because of the new demands GFX cards are putting on systems?

Surely they can't stay the same price forever?

They are an expensive piece of kit, especially for a decent one, but with power demands taking a huge leap with the new 8800 cards, these companies can't charge £100 for a 600w psu any longer, as that wouldn't do these cards in SLI.

I would guess as demand increases for more powerful PSU's, the price of them will drop due to mass production techniques. At the moment presumably they arn't needed so readily, so fewer are made and they are respectively dear.
