Damn. by the sounds of it, these modules get hot, and the heatspreaders use crappy thermal pads which tend to act like heat jackets rather than heat spreaders.

I'll just have to get lots of air flowing over 'em or something.

Well, I don't really care how it all looks, as long as it works.

I'll try a 120mm over my ram first, see well how that works. It doesn't seem this DDR2 gets a fair bit hotter than DDR1.
