Hi all,
So i'm wanting to get some stuff bought on the auction site, but I work full time and there will be no-one at home to receive the parcels and they will likely be too big to fit through the letter box. So I was wondering, will they deliver the parcels straight to my local sorting office and hold them there for me and is there a charge?

Anyone know?

Matt

Just let them try ;)
They'll leave a little card (Or not, depends on the postie), and you can simply go to collect them from the sorting office.

Simple as that.

Depends on exactly where you live, mine go back to the local post office whereas my parents have to go to the sorting office.

Sorting office collection is actually easier if you work full time as they tend to open 0500-1400 or something like that rather than 9-5 for the post office.

Collection is free, unless there's customs charges etc to pay on the parcel. If it's coming parcel force you can get them to redeliver to a local post office for 50p rather than having to go to their depot - saves me a 2hr round trip that one!
