Will steam ever release 3d injectors for vive?

By this I mean do you think they will release drivers/injectors to turn none vr Games into vr like what vorpx gave done. Not exactly a full vr experience but it allows you to play most of you existing games in 3d/vr.
If they did but it was purchasable only would you buy it ?

The SteamVR implementation of this is the Cinema View (forget the exact terminology)

I think both of the big players (oculus, valve) will stick to this because of the horrible compromises applications like Vorpx have.

Keep in mind even if they did do something "like vorpx" it would likely be identical to Vorpx as Valve practically has no more access to the game code for creating hooks than the vorpx team.

Theatre view I think it's called. Yeah they would only be able to do it in the same way vorpx do but it would be better to have it all in one place rather than having several different programs opened to do it. Don't get me wrong I love watching films or playing games on the theatre mode and a huge screen. But having an option for a simulated vr mode would be nice
