Will t-cut sort some small scratches caused by backpack on seat cowl?

When I first got my speed I had an old backpack that sat on the seat cowl which eventually caused some small scratches, the type of scratch that you get when you put something in your pocket with your keys for too long.

Is that something that t-cut would sort, or is there something else I should be using?

They're not too bad and most of them rubbed out, but want to get rid of all of them.

If it would do the trick, do I get the actual t-cut scratch remover paste stuff, or should I just go for the original liquid stuff in a red bottle.

Thanks.

I would not start with t-cut that is the last result if you go to hard you will make it patchy.

Try a good wax first like meguires.
I have only ever washed with meguiars wash and wax & also wax with autoglym, neither did the trick. I'll pick up some meguiars wax and try that, I've never been that impressed with autoglym aqua stuff tbh

I got a lot of them out with elbow grease (as in the degreaser stuff called elbow grease) but the last few are a bit more stubborn. I have always wondered about t cut and if it's too harsh on paint but I guess I just need to be careful.

@craig you should getsome of that clear film I keep telling you about, saves all those scratches

I had to stick some on mine for the same reason, pillions jeans and rucksack rubbing on paint

Yeah, would have done, but got a new backpack which doesn't rub on it anymore so it's ok at the moment, just want to get rid of what's already there!

Going to try the t-cut this weekend I think.

May pick it up this weekend (haven't got any t-cut yet), but from seeing the comments about potential to mark the finish makes me think it might not be worth it. The scratches are light, I will look again this weekend and decide, maybe something less aggressive will be better, but I'm not sure what.

This is the stuff I was looking to get: http://www.halfords.com/motoring/pa...h-repair-paint-restorers/t-cut-original-500ml
