¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm gonna be building this, and i'm gonna put down wattage guestimates. Hopefully someone will be able to tell me how well i guessed: :D

shuttle sn45v2 (25w)
amd mobile barton running at 11x200 at 1.55v (55w)
ati radeon 9800 xt (65w)
samsung 120gb HD (15w)
1gb of ram (20w)
wifi card (10w)
fans (5w)

ok, this should total to 195w, which is pretty hairy... Hopefully I've over estimated, but even if I havent, would it be better to get the 250w PSU?

This is gonna be a backup system, so I can still play CSS while tinkering with my watercooled setup. :)

Easily.

The Shuttle PSU's are very strong for their wattage, normally they can power things like 7900GTX's and X1900XT's, so your setup should be more than fine.

Nice... I probably overestimated a few of the wattages anyway... I've also got no cdrom or anything like that to be on the safe side. Now to get it all in the case and fire it up. It's a SN45 so i'm gonna be very lucky if it boots up first time.

It'll be fine :). i've ran my A64 shuttle (SN85G4V3) off a 200watt psu before, and thats with an x800pro, raptor + maxtor hdd, cd-rom, pci sound card etc etc.

infact your spec is very similar to my SN45G spec i used to have, only difference is i had another hdd and no wireless card.

though its worth noting that there are 2 types of the 200watt psu's. one of thems not that great.

The Achme one is the best one and will power literally anything you can throw at it, the Enhance ones are a bit lacking compared (my friends wouldnt even power on with my 9800xt attached)

SN45G's are (or were) a great shuttle. but nowdays the V3's are shoddy, and majority of the second hand V2's have boot problems (i guess because of their previous owners).

My V2 i used to have never had any problems until i volt modded it to overclock the mem lol

Well, I've got the Achme one, so it's all good.

Now, it was working fine last night, windows installed fine, then I turned it off.

Now today it won't boot, I've tried different ram and clearing the CMOS... you are right when you say the v2 is bad. It's a warranty replacement from shuttle, and it hasn't even lasted more than a day. :(

The V1 is a lot better... I'm using one as my HTPC, and has been rock solid for over a year. :)

EDIT: I remember your volt mods... I did something similar by soldering the 3.3v line to my memory slot, but it blew the 250w silenx PSU!
