will the 580gtx bottleneck in this system

Thinking about getting a Nvidia gtx 580 but I'm worried about it bottlenecking in the system I have
i7 920 2.66 GHz
6 gig of ram
corsiar 650tx psu

Most likely you won't have a problem. You would have to be gaming at a very high resolution and have that processor overclocked before you should even consider it I reckon.

My resolution is 1920 1200 and I aslo do a lot of gaming

Providing your cpu is clocked higher, which it will do with ease, there is no way that it will be a bottleneck.
