Will the 6700k ever go back down in price?

I am looking to get the 6700k or the 5820k or the 4790k, but here is my reasoning against each:
The 6700k is overpriced at £350 for a quad core.
The X99 motherboards are expensive as poop
I have already bought DDR4 RAM, in the black friday sales, can easily return, but hey ho.

Question is, will the 6700k ever go down in price to about the £250-300 point in the near future?

No competition + limited supply = price gouging. Even the Haswell K chips are still pretty much the same price as at launch.

You have a point there.. Currently looking at the 5820k, but motherboard prices are insane...
