Will the A11 make its way to the normal iPads soon?

My regular air 2 is ridiculously slower than my iPhone 8. However, I’ve only heard of the A11 being on the iPad Pro. Do you think it will also be on the normal iPads anytime soon?

The A10X is what’s in the iPad Pro, only the iPhone has the A11. Can’t imagine the A11 appearing in normal iPads anytime soon.

A11 and A10X aren’t far off each other anyway in performance iirc (well geekbench scores anyway). We’ll get a A11X in the iPad Pro refresh next year probably.

Was it April the iPad 2017 came out? Probably see a minor refresh same time next year but I doubt they’d bump it up above the current Pro range.

I suppose so, particularly as there’s strong rumours next years iPads are going to cost just £270 for the entry level 9.7 inch ones.
