will the AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 940 work on the AM2+ shuttles?

the spec says “If you have an existing AM2/AM2+ motherboard and want an upgrade to quad core without buying a new motherboard/ram this cpu is for you”

so will it work on my shuttle ?

anyone tried this on a similar spec shuttle ?

Check your motherboards manufactor website.

nothing showing as yet, will email them tomorrow, but sad to say shuttle are very slow on updating the specs for older shuttles if at all.
