Hi all,

I have some Corsair tri channel RAM:

Installed on the Gigabyte X58A-UD3R:

And I want to install a Cogage Arrow CPU Cooler:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-001-CG

With 3x 120mm CPU Fans:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-037-AK

Does anyone know if they fit? The size of the CPU cooler has me worried I won't be able to fit all three RAM modules...

The cogage arrow has lots of clearence over RAM, no need to worry about that

If you orient it as Top exhaust put the ram in AFTER you've fitted all the fans... just for ease of the fan bracket. (this is the way I have mine due to fitting in my case)
If you put it for Rear exhasut the do the opposite, have the RAM in before the fan.

What Case do you have?
I had a little trouble trying to squeeze it into my Antec902... but just about managed it - Can't fit a third fan though (I have it exhausting out the top and can't access up there to fit it and can't squeeze it in if I fit it first).
So long as you have a decent large case you should be fine, but that RAM won't be a problem at all.

I want to try to get it exhaust out the rear as the case exhaust fan should help.

I have a Coolermaster 632 - small, but from measurements I think it fits. I hope it does now :O

Do you have a photo of your setup by any chance?

Not on me but I'll upload one this evening after work. The only reason I have it exhausting out the top is there's a stupid clip on the inside of the panel of the 902 which, if I have the cooler turned the other way, won't let me fit the side panel *sigh*. Tbh I'm concidering snapping it off.

Is this the cooler thats passive and requires no fans to run? Heard good things about this one just running stock without fans if it is indeed the same one.

Its a taller (but thinner) version of the Megahalems mate - 140mm fan instead of a 120mm.

You can use 2 X 140mm fans in push/ pull ;)

It might not cover the ram, but looks like on most gigabyte boards the Prolimatech Armageddon has problems with heat pipe / sinks on the motherboards.

This review makes it seem much less worth it!

Analysis

While looking over the results it’s important to note that this cooler isn’t aimed at replacing the Megahalems, rather this cooler is designed for those PC enthusiast who want the best, but don’t want to sacrifice their sound level comforts with high static fans screaming all day long next to your burning ear. With regards to that very statement, the Armageddon does its job 100%. While utilizing our usual high performance San Ace H1011 fan that we use on all our coolers to find the very limits of each cooler here at OCT, the Armageddon was no slouch with being just 8C behind the very best cooler; the Cogage Arrow.

Hopefully you can see:
The cooler is higher than the top of the Memory and there's another slot beneath it that I could use If I want to add more (I'm using these as they are the primary use on my mobo).
