Will the PS4 be HDMI?

This might be a silly question, but will the ps4 be bog standard HDMI like this gen?

It should do. HDMI 1.4 supports 4k resolutions which is what the PS4 maxes out at (For photos and videos only I believe).

Only reason I ask is if our current tvs will be fine with next gen consoles..
