Will there be a new battlefield game as good as bad company 2 was?

Every version since bad company 2 has been a let down imo. Is there anything in development?

If there is I think it'll come from left field, not one of the existing FPS developers. They are all obsessed with anything but getting the basics right and providing value for money now.
