Will there be space?

So following my thread from yesterday about returning to the PC Master race, I've now decided my build will be including the following:

Gigabyte Aorus GeForce RTX 2080ti Xtreme Waterforce AIO

Be Quiet! Silent Base 801 Midi Tower Case

Along with this I will be fitting an currently unselected AiO CPU cooler. Probably SILENT LOOP SUPERIOR LIQUID CPU COOLER - 360MM (or similar) but I have a couple of questions. My aim is to build a PC that is as quiet as possible within around a £3000 budget, as I've got far too used to the quietness of an iMac:

  • Most obviously, will the two AiO units fit in the above case together and leave space? As physical space in my house isn't a concern, would the 900 series case be better? Would that be noisier?
  • Will running the two AiO units generate considerably more noise than having one with a fan instead or going full liquid cooling (considering the budget)?
  • Will replacing fans on the Gigabyte card void the lovely 4 year warranty?
  • Any recommendations for a nice quiet PSU to fit with the above (keeping in mind it will also be running an Intel i9 9900k processor quite possibly on a Gigabyte Aorus Z390 board.
  • For replacing fans, would the Be Quiet! Silent Wings be the preference or some Noctua fans (I've read they are the quietest)?
  • Considering the cooling in the AiO units...would case fans still be needed? i.e. Would the AiO units do that work for the rest of the system?
I'm trying to avoid the day to day running noise of a typical PC as much as possible and minimise noise level when gaming (on a 4k TV / monitor), hence my obsession with fan / unit quietness.

Thanks in advance

So having spent a few hours this morning, I've come up with the following spec. See any problems?

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £3,522.15 (includes shipping: £15.30)

The fans are simply to replace the case fans and then see how it goes. At a later date I may replace others.

I could do with shaving a little bit off of the cost. Perhaps a smaller PSU? Maybe a different CPU cooler? Maybe the Pro version of the motherboard? Not sure....

Thanks for the help thus far...

System build is currently looking something like below but still tweaking away:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £3,462.95 (includes shipping: £14.10)

@EsaT I looked at the Seasonic PSU before and not sure about the noise output. I want to get as quiet as I can. CPU cooler wise...appreciate your points but tend to prefer the radiator and liquid coolant method based on past experience....again noise related, when I swapped from on CPU to a liquid cooled AiO, the noise difference was considerable....I do admin that was on my last build, 10 years ago now...but it was a lot different...maybe things have changed but if I didn't get on with the £70 on chip cooler...then it will be money wasted to some degree....although you could argue the other way I suppose...not here but on another thread....the drive speed is not just about gaming...its for video editing, graphics and 3D as I do game development and render cut scenes, etc...so more RAM and fast HDD access is a good thing for me :) I do admit that the capacity is somewhat limitting on the NVMe but I have mechanical drives around at the minute which I'll live with for a short time (as cache drives during editing) until I can get addition SSD's...that way I save cost and keep noise generation limited until I can get rid of it completely.

@orbitalwalsh Thanks for the pointers, you'll see I've made some changes to my build. Still trying to shave bits off here and there....OC seems expensive on some components so may be able to save by getting those elsewhere but then its the cost of delivery balancing act I have to do. PSU wise...my systems tend to be on 24 hour...so need to be top spec...my iMac has not been turned off for 3 years....restarted...not turned off though.

@GIGA-Man Thanks for clarifying. I spotted that on the Gigabyte site so assumed changing is fine as long as returned with originals if RMA'd as it the manufacturer provided guidance for it....thanks again :)
