I miss mohaa and wondered why there hasnt been a good game like it since. Not interested in modern warfare like COD MW or BF3 type games so no discussion plz about them type of war fps games.

I just miss the story of mohaa the authenticity that the game brought with weapons sounds and story and the little things and of course mowing ppl down with my smg on mp and been damn good at it. :)

Do you think any one would make a game like this anymore considering all the fps devs wana move to realism and modern settings and be too real.

I've never played wolfenstein so can't be that.

I am sure it was one of the moh games, there were massive nazi towers that you had to get in to and there was super soldiers fighting against you.

Oh, that would be Airborne on the last level.

Well it doesnt but i personally would prefer it as i dont really like other types of fps games. But because its team based is why i dont think brink is like the old school mohaa type games. It maybe twitchy but thats about it with comparing it to mohaa which is the main comparison im after.

The only team based thing i have liked was the freeze tag mode on mohaa which i enjoyed. Anything like objectives by certain types of players and working together isnt really something id like. Might sound a bit contradictory but its how i am lol.

I'm with the OP. In the intervening years, nothing has ever bettered the time i spent playing MOHAA/Spearhead MP. I've enjoyed many MP games but they will always be the best. I wouldn't necessarily say the same for the SP Campaigns although i do still enjoy them.

The Super Soldier thing was from Airborne btw. (An abomination).

they are not good for the masses the only one that you should be looking at is red orchestra 2 .

this looks as it could a proper shooter like moh and cod 1 and uo was.

Red orchestra 2 does look good but I don't think you can compare it to mohaa / cod1.

I doubt there will be any games made which will be as simple and twitchy as cod1/uo/2 and mohaa, like ~>Dg<~ said they just don't appeal to the masses, it's all about ranks, unlocks, perks and all the other crap they fill shooters with these days.

Glory days of clan gaming.
