Will these games run on my system?

Hi

Could everyone tell me how well the following games will run on my
notebook, nothing extreme i would just like the games to run smoothly
and look reasonably good at a resolution of at least 1024x768?

Also are there any problems running these games on vista as ive had
trouble with some of my old games on vista?

CPU: Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo T7700 (2.4Ghz)
RAM: 3GB DDR2
GPU: 512MB Ati Mobility Radeon HD2600
HDD: 250GB
Display: 17" TFT Trubrite WXGA (1440X900)
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium (32Bit)

Well I have a Dell notebook with a GeForce 8600M GT which is roughly the same spec as yours (the graphics card might be different but its about as good).

The Orange Box runs fine on maximum settings at 1280x800 (my screen's max resolution). Unreal 3 Engine games run well with most of the eye candy maxed out, but Crysis is a no-no on anything less than low settings.

Not tried ET:QW, but IMO your laptop should be able to run all current games OK, although making some compromises with the settings.

Im pretty sure they will all run at that res ok, not sure about crysis though. Someone will no doubt correct me if im wrong

everything except for crysis (well in high setting mode). You should be able to play crysis in medium settings though.

OK, so bioshock, blacksite, enemy territory and half-life 2 the orange box and i presume other similar type games will run smoothly on my laptop at highish settings thats excellent news now i know i can buy them.

However i seem to be receiving mixed opinions about crysis some say low settings and others say medium, as a pc gaming novice could you all possibly tell me what do you mean by low/medium settings in resolution terms because as i said im not to bothered about the extra eye candy settings like AA, shadows etc i would just like to run the game smoothly and look good at 1024x768 as this is good enough for me?
