Hey guys

Torn between two GFX Cards firstly

Asus HD 7970 Matrix Platinum 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-293-AS

or this one...

Sapphire HD 7970 VAPOR-X GHZ 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-303-SP

So first question is, is the ASUS worth the extra money?

Want to be able to get a nice replacement for the HD6950 which I have sold, the standard clock speed on the ASUS is higher, both are OC as far as I know, what do you think?

Secondly, I have this case...

CM Storm Scout II Midi Tower Gaming Case

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-299-CM

Just worried about the card length, as I have 5 x HDs in there, and losing the HD bay might be a problem lol

anyone got this case, or know whether the above cards will fit ok?

Want to buy this today as they are both on offer with games, so thought I would get some opinions :)

Cheers guys!!

Chris

yeah I did mate, thats where my two choices came from :)

always been an Asus man for the Motherboards, but I brought this last week

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-161-OE

with 16GB of ram in it, so I wanted to update the GFX card for a slightly more up to date one, if there is such a thing in the world of components lol

I had the Sapphire HD6950 GFX card before, never let me down, but I do like the ASUS one as well, just wondered really if it was worth the extra cash?
