Sennheiser CX300 Eco Ear Canal Headphones Black...(they have good reviews)

I am picking up my ipod nano 8gb tomorrow and dont know the compatibility for it...

Also is it worth me getting these headphones as I have heard the headphones you get bundled with ipods arent all that great....?

Thanks :)

Anything is better than headphones that come bundled with players. All headphones should be compatible with any mp3 player, unless the player has a known defect.

them heaphones are fine with the nano, nanos use the standard 3.5mm jack, i have a set of bose triports on my video only cos standard ones suck!

I use to use the CX300, awesome little things for my 2nd Gen Nano - I've recently upgraded to the Mylar Crossroads XB, not looked back since (it's highly recommended as the next thing up after the CX300 by many many Audiophiles, and personally I agree.)

Make sure you get them CX300 from a reputable source, there are a lot of counterfeits on eBay... thread there with caution, especially with their price, it's really tempting.

If the iPod has the same connection as the iPhone then no as they won't fit, as I found out.

Stupid apple :@

Sold my iPhone though so no use for the headphones now!

Seconded on that - just a shame all those people who buy them off the bay are so pleased with them......

I bought the CX300's to replace my EX71's. I thought they were awful! Didn't have any warmth compared to my EX71's. The EX71's seem a mixed bag also but they definitely sounded better for MP3 players than the CX300's. Took them back straight away.

Isnt there CX400's out now? Maybe those are better.

If you havnt had sound isolating headphones before im sure you'll be happy though.

Funny you should say that, but AFAIK the CX300's are one of very few headphones that actually fit the reccessed headphone jack of the iPhone. ;)
