The AM3 board and CPU will work fine together.
As for the RAM - it will technically work, but that kit is for triple channel X58 systems. If you put it in a dual channel AM3 system then it will more than likely only run in single channel mode.
I would suggest getting a good DDR3 2x2GB kit like this. If you need more RAM then get 4x2GB so you can be sure it all runs in dual channel mode.
