I'm currently getting together the parts for my brothers first foray into PC gaming. He works away for weeks at a time so wanted something small he could take with him. I thought the itx colossus looked the best case. It's smaller than the prodigy and should be quieter than the phenom.

I'm mainly getting the bits used off another forum (the 1000 post count on here is way off at the moment), and getting other bits new.

I have currently bought

The case (ordering later today)
2600k
Overclocked Gtx 680 with a MK-26 black edition cooler and 2 Ultra Sleek Vortex 14 fans,
8GB Gskill ripjawsx 1600MHz ram
Corsair H100 cooler

I'm going to be getting him an SSD and a 3.5" storage drive.

I was going to put the 3.5" drive in the optical cage so I could take out the drive caddies to improve airflow, but I didn't know if the drive would fit with the h100?

Also does anyone know if the graphics card will fit or will I need to buy a new cooler or fans?

The GPU will be too wide,

The case leaves very little space between a stanard 2 slot GPU and the side panel..

So no your card won't fit.

You may be better with a colossus M but i fear the width of the GPU may be an Issue..

A ronin would do the trick. :)

Gpu won't fit.
I have this case and my Gainward gtx 770, slim version, fits with 10mm extra . So thats 2 slots wide gpu max.
H100 fits on top but only with 2 fans. Try push/pull and you will only loose patience.
In order to have any sort of cable management, you need 150mm long psu max, otherwise you can forget about it or having hdd cages either. I had to remove all mine, having 180mm long psu.
I would recommend going for some micro atx case with mini itx motherboard support instead.

thanks for the info. Doesn't the H100 only need two fans? Im terrible at fans and pc cooling so whats the best way to set the H100 up?

And is there room for a 3,5" drive stashed in the optical drive as well? Then I could take out both the cages.

I suppose I could use an NZXT G10 with a H80 on the graphics card and sell the MK-26 black edition cooler. Dont suppose you know if one would fit in the front of the case?
