Hi Guys..

Heres my spec of my pc at the moment.

Asus P5b Deluxe Wi-Fi
Intel Core 2 DUO E6400 @3.2 Ghz
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB)
Asus Silent Square Cooler
Asus 16x Dvd Reader
Asus 16x Dvd Writer
Samsung 16x Dvd Writer
Maxtor 250 Gig Sata 7200.10 Hard Drive
2 x Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB ST3320620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache
2 x 120mm Case Fans
Internal Combo Card, Sata, Firewire, USB2
Alphacool Display System
Corsair 520w PSU
Ati X1800XT 256 Mb Graphic Card With ACS Cooler.

My question is I have just purchased this PSU as my old one gave up on me and died. I would like to know will this 520w psu be enough to run this system smoothly when I upgrade to say a 8800gtx graphic card?

It says on the PSU that there are 3 x 12v rails running 18a each. :(

Im worried now that ive wasted my money and its not going to run this system with a 8800gtx when I get it..

Can someone please put me out my misery and let me know if its ok or not.. :D

All feedback is greatly appreciated..

All the best

Sean

What if I want to upgrade to the latest card out say 3 to 6 months time.. for example a Ati R600?? Would it still be able to run it ok?

Thanks

Gibbo's supposedly getting an R600 in next week for testing, so you'll be able to find out then if your PSU will handle it as hes gona post pictures etc... and give us a bit of info on it as no one will know how much power it requires until its released, wont be able to give us to much info as its under NDA till its released, but im sure he'll be able to let us know what PSU can handle it as i doubt that would be under NDA, so stay tuned. :)
