Will this be ok?

I am extremely keen to get an aftermarket cooling solution on my 5770's in crossfire as I have the shroud coolers and it's stupidly loud. The Arctic Cooling L2 PRO is getting some good reviews on the 5770 but I have a problem.

The picture I am posting here is not mine, but does represent the clearance issue I would have with my second card and my power supply.

Will this drastically affect temperatures or might it be ok?

Thanks.

I need to know what you folks reckon ASAP as my girlfriend needs to order 2 of them for me..............Xmas pressie :)

guess it all depends on if ur psu is sucking air from inside the case or from underneath... as if its getting its air from inside the case then yeh it would be sucking hot air from the GPU.

The fan on my PSU is sucking from underneath so no probs there, my only worry was if the fan on the VGA cooler would be able to draw cool air in ok with it being so close?

oh i just noticed the fan on it, mmm may not be ideal i guess, but it will draw air from the sides, this is all guess work btw, so im guessing it would get cooled, but obviously not 100%. As long as there is good airflow in the case can't see it being to much of an issue, oh and sidepanel fan would come in handy for that too as it would be right over it blowing down on it.

Its not ideal, but you should be fine as long you cable manage around the right side of the gpu for good airflow (presuming you've got a front intake at the bottom of your front panel).
