My mate has a ASUS P5L-VM 1394 LGA 775 Intel 945G Micro ATX Intel Motherboard as well as an E4500 and 9400GT (as well as a noname low power PSU), and wants to be able to run a couple modern games on medium-ish settings. He only has about 150 quid so is looking to upgrade what needs upgrading most and then the rest later.
He's adamant he wants to upgrade the GPU first, so I recommended he starts with a 4890 he can get cheap aswell as a corsair tx650w, and I have told him that he will see bottlenecking by his CPU.
Just wondering if there's any problems with putting such a card with that motherboard or if it will be fine? (albeit with bottlenecking from cpu)
