To answer the spec side of things, dependant on res, yes. 1080p, should be able to play with everything on max, I did with my 560ti. Mind you, that was 2GB. So maybe draw distance might be scaled back for you.

Ah see you didn't mention that bit.

Ermm it not current spec, but it has a decent level of ram and a good gpu in an older series. Not bad.

As agnes said scale the draw distance back and you should have a good experience with skyrim on that system.

what upgrades would you suggest im gonna try upgrade the system in January but not sure were to start guessing the graphics card could be better could you please link me to what i should need ..,thank you guys

If you stuck an Nvidia 970 in there you'd be good to go for a while. They are solid bang for buck.
