yeah i have an:
i5 3.3ghz
4gb corsair 1600mhz ram
360 gb hd

I wanted to save money by getting a cheaper gpu but i want to play games at a decent fps :)

Everything is compatible. The PSU is a cracking little unit, the 560ti is a good card and Asus makes good GPUs, the motherboard seems the best deal for the price. The case is really budget though. Get another fan for exhaust, unless you have a water cooler like a H50.

Ive been playing games on a laptop for 4 years, do you think i will need to upgrade anything in that build to play the next 4 years of mmos? :)

The PSU is more than adequate. it will run anything up to a 570 comfortably. FYI, I've measured 450W peak on 6950 TOXIC crossfire. For the next generation of GPUs, the trend will be less power usage as well, with smaller manufacturing processes.

The GPU seems like the right sort to get given your budget and requirements. It will even do a great job with demanding games like Battlefield 3.

If you have second thoughts about the case, I'd pick up a Zalman Z9 or a Coolermaster CM 690 II Lite.

Antec 300 ;)

Would it be better if i dropped the gpu down to a 6870 and added a Z9 case instead? :)

You can also add a cheap 120mm fan to this case or the Bitfenix at the rear - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-010-CM&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=4

Also, for gaming then I personally wouldnt compromise the GPU for a slightly better case like that, if the case you were considering was known to be rubbish then ok, but its not. It just needs an extra fan added to it.

Cant wait to play games when i can actually move when spells are being cast or loads of people move at the same time lol This laptop just laggs when something interesting happens on the screen, oh btw is it easy to set up a pc from scratch, is it as easy as putting it all together then booting it with a cd in the drive or is there other options i need to go in?

Ok cheers :) i just see people posting (new build now wont work) and things like that

Usually its because they failed to put a power connector in somewhere, then ask "my gfx has two 6pin plugs, do I need both of them in?" they certainly aren't there for show.

I should be fine then, studied electronics about 10 years ago, that might help a bit, its been a long time :)
