What other things do I need to buy to assemble? Cables etc?
The case already comes with 2 fans so i think i've covered everything?

ok thanks! ill ditch the card then!

i don't really see anything importantly better with the home premium apart from aero mode? which i never use anyway! (i have vista home premium on my laptop!) is the scheduled backup necessary?

apart from that have i picked all the right parts that are compatible with each other safely and reliably??? will it all fit in that case?
+ i take it i need a cpu cooler! will that one do?

the seagate barracude 500gb has a 32mb cache so i assume that is a lot faster for £2 more?

basically the "communal" lol home pc has just died so i am trying to build on a budget as its not personally me buying it!
none of the users will be playing any games apart from my sister playing the sims and maybe rollercoaster tycoon lol

MOBO - i don't really know what to look for in a mobo apart from if its compatible with core2 duo? so i just found the cheapest?

pwndirect: thanks! those parts seem better - only went for 500w to be safe?
hp7909: that one is still nicely in budget thanks! whats GFX? HSF?

wow you're all very helpful around here! cheers lol

i chose core 2 duo because i thought it was considerably faster?
the antec case with psu is a good money saver as long as i can trust earthwatts?!

I thought 4GB RAM will make a lot of difference?
Am I right in saying that if I have 32Bit OS then I cant upgrade to 4GB RAM later on??
I thought it was a no brainer to get 64bit because of this AND its only £4 more!?
What can the AMD be easily overclocked to?

+ i don't know what ATX / MATX is!???

How about this for a build based on PwnDirects but with 4GB RAM - Vista 64 HP combined with the PSU and case that pastymuncher said, all for £353 delivered!??
