Will this bundle fit in my existing case?

Hey all, I am looking to get this upgrade bundle.

Im just after some advice about it fitting in my case.
It is an Antec Performance One P280, and the sizes are at the bottom of this page

Im pretty sure it will, just wanted someone to check for me please.
Also there are 2 options for the all in one cpu cooler, 240mm and 360mm, Im thinking of going with the 240mm to be safe size wise.
Do the bundles come with a little tube of thermal paste as well, or is that something else I need to get?

All advice appreciated

The mobo will fit without an issue but the problem may be fitting the 240 AIO into the roof and that not interferring with anything like the mobo heatsinks. I had a P180 and the P280 was made before AIO's and designing cases with them in mind became mainstream

My advice would be to ditch the bundle and then buy a 12700 with the choice of mobo and ram you want. The saving by dropping to a 12700 will allow you to buy a new case and any AIO you want.

Thanks for replying.
Nothing is ever easy is it!
Taking this from the last page of the case review, I thought it might be ok
"With the dual 120mm fans at the top there is a place to mount water cooling units like the Corsair H100 without mods or running into the clearance issues with the rear exhaust. Same for mounting Antec’s own Kuhler 920 to the rear exhaust and not having clearance issues with the top exhaust fans."

Im not too confident about choosing the bits separately, I just had a rough budget and went for the bundle nearest that figure.
I might take a look and see what there is to choose from separately

Here you go. If I was going for an Alderlake system this is close to what I would get.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £910.46 (includes delivery: £10.50)

You are right and the AIO should fit but if it doesnt you can buy a new case with the money saved by getting a 12700 and not a 12900.

The only thing I changed was the RAM, as the one you recommended said AMD Tuned.
Probably doesn't matter, but I think the spec is the same as the one I mention below anyway.

Will try and put it all into my existing case, and if it doesn't fit, well Ive saved on the bundle price so can choose a new case if I need to.

So, all OK to hit the "buy" button?

While not the same board or case, I had to buy a new case due to fit issues.

My msi mortar (amd b550) wouldn't allow me to fit my aio back at the top of my bequiet purebase 600, unlike the old z97 board, even though the top is a designated water cooling spot. The top heatsink was literally 1-2mm too tall which then pushed against the rad/fans and stopped me getting the screws in.

The antec looks more centralised than the bequiet so I suspect you're going to run into problems.

You may find you are in the same situation as lsg1r was with the case physically having the space to fit the radiator but the mounting holes being in slightly the wrong place. If you have a drill then make some new mounting holes and use washers, if needed, to help support the weight.

Its an old case with a solid side panel so looks are obviously not the prime goal. If it doesnt fit then make it fit.

Based on the images of the antec it would likely be more than a few holes, they'd likely need to dremel out the top.

So close!

The radiator screwed into the case fine, but there is just not enough clearance for the motherboard to sit properly:cry:
Think I will order the BeQuiet one I linked above

Just waiting on overclockers to confirm the BeQuiet case will fit, then will order that.
It should fit, it's wider than my 600 and the top looks to have more vertical clearance too.

You know you could return the 240 for a 360 instead....

Just had a thought though, that top is 'solid' and the air is pushed out the small gap at the rear top of the raised section... if you're looking for airflow it might not be the best option imo, although it will be pretty good for noise reduction.

Every time I open this thread it costs me money:D
You're welcome :P

I had the previous (split) version of that cooler and it worked pretty well, maybe a little noisy to my ears but then I seem to be hypersensitive to the pump noise on EVERY aio I've had.... I filled the rad once, it was a pain to do and the nozzel got reshaped so the lid doesn't fit now, but it did work.

With my new build (in the replacement case of an o11 evo) I swapped to a different aio and because I was changing the fans I just went with the ek basic 360, primarily due to the fact it had 4 point mounting on AMD, the bequiet uses a 2 point mount system, which works but I noticed when removing it one side had become loose (the bequiet you linked to uses the same mount system) even though I'd made sure it was all tight etc (temps were still fine, so no obvious 'warning').
