Hi guys

I'm going to be building a new rig in a few weeks and to reduce cost I was going to use my current cooler with a 120mm silent fan on?

Thermaltake Sonic Tower 4-in-1 Noiseless Heatpipe (Socket 939/754/775/478) CPU Cooler (CL-P0071) (HS-009-TT)

It will be in my current Antec 900 case which has good air flow!

Will it be good enough to cool an overclocked Intel Core 2 Duo E6420?

Seems pretty decent, don't see why it won't handle overclocked C2D tbh, in fact I'm very instereted to see your results against Tuniq tower, ultra 120 and noctua.
 
Ok I'll let you know once I do the build :)

I think it's a good cooler and works well in my Antec 900 case but I just wanted to see really :)

I take it there aren't any fans on this cooler, how are the temperatures at the moment on it? At ~£23 this seems like a steal.

[edit] seen some reviews and I'm not sure it would be a good choice, seems like a last gen cooler.

These three are the big ones at the moment. Any one of them will do very well. The Noctua is extremely quiet. The Ultra 120 might *just* be the best, at least from what they found over at anandtech. I don't think there's much in it though.
