Will this cooler be sufficient just to test if my new 8700k works before water cooling?

Hi guys,

As per title, will this allow me to check POST/BIOS before water cooling the whole system?

The cooler doesn't look up to much, and the 8700k is notoriously hot!

Just need a basic cheap cooler as it won't be used more than once?

It will be sufficient to check bios and post.
