Will this cooling work ok?

Having used Shuttle XPCs for my last few builds I have little experience of setting up cooling in a PC.

Any suggestions or comments on this setup?

CPU cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 13
Side panel & top extract fans: Sharkoon Eagle 1000
Front panel & rear extract fans: Fractal design 120mm

PC specs are:
Fractal Design R3 case,*SBridge 2500k,*2x GTX 460s in SLI,*2x HDDs and 1x SSD

Yes, but not looking to smash any records!
800Mhz on the 460s and maybe 4.2Ghz on the CPU should 'be enough'

Which way around should the cooler be mounted?
To blow air horizontally out of the rear fan or vertically through the top fan?

I'm worried about using the 140mm side fan without a filter.
Would it better to have two top fans instead?

most have the cooler fan blowing air towards the back of the case.

About the side fan, i find them to disrubt air flow, so i block up the side fan bit, and just use front, top and rear fans.

Thanks for the advice - will mount CPU fan as you suggest.

I've read seemingly conflicting things about side fans. Am I right to think that whilst a side fan will drop GPU temps, it does so at the cost of increased temps on other components? ie as airflow is disrupted, other components such as hdds, ram and cpu run hotter.
