Hi, I am upgrading my current machine and want to use some of my old bits to make a windows based PC.

I have been using an abit board with a core2quad q6600. I am selling the q6600 so need a replacement cheap chip.

Will this work as a desktop chip in my abit board:

Intel SL9BN Core 2 DUO T2050 CPU Processor

I am getting a core i7 system this week. I have put my spec check in the general hardware section.

I am selling the q6600 to help fund it then using some old bits to make a windows machine for the missus. Cheers.

Just wanting to get the cheapest possible core2duo.
