like i say noise isnt to much hassle i have my television quite loud any way for gaming and this is primery for this machine its just i dont whant to buy a moniter when i have a perfectly good 42" sammy and a standerd atx case would look a little out of place in my living room
Is that the Antec NSK2400? If so cooling should'nt be much of a problem as the case is very well ventilated and has 2x120mm Tricool fans. The problem is height. The case is only 5.5" tall. By the time you have the motherboard fitted on the spacers you will lose at least 1/2" of that and the card itself is the best part of 4.5" from the base of the pci-e "foot" to the top so it will be a hell of a squeeze. The card is also 9" long. Another potential problem is that the case only comes with a 380w psu. It is a quality one but it also does'nt have any pci-e connectors so you would have to use a 2x molex into pci-e converter.
its is indeed the nsk2400 i had noticed from the internal pic's the case is well desighned for ventilation and air movemant with seperate compartmants for contents.
i found a review that has a 6800gt fitted so its just finding out how these 2 cards mesure up against each other.
and would i need to buy the spliter/converter for the molex's seperate or does the card come with?
if you can afford the extra i would suggest getting the Antec Fusion. it has much better design and much much better airflow, i've seen loads of people with really high specs in them, plus it looks better
If you look at my post above, i measured my 8800GTS for you and it is 9 inches long by 4.5 inches tall (from base of pci-e connector to top of card). All you need to do is find out the size of a 6800gt. It is smaller than the 8800GTS i believe. Most if not all 8800's come with a molex to pci-e adapter but that psu is only 380w and i am not sure what the details for the 12v rail are.
