Will this fit?

I would just get one that does fit, £500 for a motherboard is way off the mark even with the features it has. Very overpriced in my opinion.

£500!!! can get a 2500K cpu/motherboard and RAM for less than that, and it will be quicker than the older i7 stuff.

Thanks for some input guys, however i need to explain a little more. If you look on the below link this is the other projecy i built a few weeks ago and i am just upgrading my 2nd pc now so i dont want the same setup. It is currentley a 790i *** EVGA board with a QX6850 extreme CPU, and tri sli BFG 260s in. I wanted to go down the i7 route so i can compare it to the sandybridge and apparentley this is going to be one hell of a board with built in killer card and creative soundblaster audio and all the other functions. What would be the advice now i have explained myself a bit better? Thanks.

I still think you should get a cheaper model. Killer network cards reduce your ping ever so slightly, but not by enough for it to warrant the money I am afraid.

Well, if you have the money to spend there is no doubting that this is the best board out there feature wise. But also bear in mind that an SR2 is £30 cheaper! I know you probably don't want to buy two expensive CPUs but it puts into perspective just how expensive this thing is!

Oh, and to answer your initial question the G1 Assassin is 12" wide and the TJ07 seems to have over that in motherboard tray room so there should not be a problem. However you may have to drill more holes for standoffs as I am not sure about the standoff pattern for XL-ATX boards but I think they use standard ATX ones.
