For only £12 more than the OPs build, this is a much better idea.
 
for the record civ 5 is running on my mates laptop on a HD4000 integrated graphics so if your short of pennies you can drop the GPU for a couple of weeks
 
How well would the IGP cope on the i3 with WoW\Civ? I know that Haswell's can play WoW\Civ5 in a capable manner, as they both run fine on my Surface.
 
The IGP on a i3 is hugely inferior to any APU, but there is a discrete gpu added above.

To answer the original question, the Kaveri will be fine.
 
Wow will be acceptable - unless you're in large groups - with the settings turned down. Civ 5, not so sure. It'll load up and start in an acceptable manner but I can't see it playing at an acceptable frame rate when the map expansion really starts happening.
